Why this blog exists

Following serials one episode at a time

Desi Serials started as a personal habit: keeping notes on each episode of the web serials I watch, tracking how a character's decision in one installment reshapes the story that follows. Those notes slowly became a practice of writing.

The aim is simple. Document how these narratives move, so readers who share the same shows have a place to think through the turns together.

How I write

Character and structure come first

I focus on why characters act as they do and how a serial's structure carries those choices forward. A plot turn matters most when it changes who a character is becoming, and that is where I spend the most time.

Celebrity gossip and studio announcements stay out of the writing. The subject is the stories themselves, read closely and discussed plainly, with spoilers clearly marked and context given before any major turn is revealed.

Write to me about a serial

Share a thought on an episode, a character arc you want unpacked, or a serial you think deserves more attention. Messages are read personally and answered when I can.
